Summary:

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be responsible for leading a team of recruiters who support our subsidiaries in preparing and submitting proposals for federal contracts. You will collaborate closely with proposal managers, business development teams, and subsidiary leaders across Goldbelt to ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and objectives.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of federal contracting processes and requirements with an emphasis on bids and proposals as it related to talent acquisition
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations surrounding hiring
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools and technologies
  • Ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a dynamic corporate environment
  • Skill in working harmoniously within cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Possesses attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and with outside agencies, partners, shareholders, and business associates
  • Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to adapt messages and strategies for diverse audiences
  • Basic understanding of relevant software, tools, and systems used in the corporate environment. This includes a proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience providing recruitment support for an organization that is an active US government contractor
  • Experience working in a high-volume, matrixed environment required
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within iCIMS and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs) and/or previous exposure to Alaska Native cultures
  • Previous government contracting experience
  • Bids and Proposals, Business Development, and/or Mergers and Acquisitions experience a plus

 

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $125,000 annually.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Partner with proposal managers, business development teams, and subsidiary leaders to understand staffing requirements and develop recruitment strategies to support proposal development initiatives
  • Responsible for coordination of incumbent capture procedures, ensuring appropriate support within the department in order to achieve the acquisition timeline and goals
  • Manage the proposal staffing process from end to end, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation
  • Lead the handoff process from proposal to award with the HR Business Partner and the Talent Acquisition team assigned to the subsidiary
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and acquire top talent to support proposal development efforts by proactively building a diverse talent pipeline during the full cycle recruitment process for current and future opportunities
  • Leverage internal and external sites to advertise, in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team to diversify the candidate pool
  • Perform market analysis for hard to fill positions and niche skillsets, as well as provide market trend information to hiring managers
  • Provide guidance and direction to recruiters on sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates
  • Conduct regular status updates and provide ongoing communication regarding recruitment progress and candidate pipeline by serving as a key point of contact for B&P, BD, and hiring managers
  • Monitor and track proposal staffing metrics and performance to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements throughout the recruitment process
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize recruitment processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support other proposal HR/personnel functions as needed during workload surges
