Summary
Performs (at the semi-skilled level) general repairs and preventative maintenance to buildings, facilities, and grounds.

Pay Rate: $25.00-$30.00 DOE
Necessary Skills and Knowledge
Ability to work all different shifts including days, evenings, holidays and weekends.
Ability to handle stress under pressure.
Ability to provide quality, professional customer service.
Knowledge of repair and preventative maintenance procedures for one or more of the specified fields of work: landscaping, mechanics, and electrical controls
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to learn, understand, and follow verbal and manual instructions, work independently and as a self-starter.
Skill in operating personal computer utilizing a variety of computer software.
Working knowledge/familiarity of tram operations systems, willingness to continuously learn in order to improve skills.
Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other employees.
Ability to work directly with the public, providing information and assistance on a daily basis.
Ability/willingness to learn and pass on to guests those areas of interest to visitors, such as local history, people, culture, geography, etc.
Minimum Qualifications (education, experience, skills)
High school diploma or equivalent.
Four (4) years of semi-skilled, working or advanced apprentice level experience in one or more of mechanical electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry fields of work, performing general repairs and ongoing maintenance.
Current CPR and first aid certificates or ability obtain within 30 days.
Drug testing may be required.
Preferred Qualifications (education, experience, skills)
Prior building maintenance experience
Current driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
